Carlson Software and HydroCAD Form Alliance
A new alliance between Carlson Software Inc. and HydroCAD Software Solutions, LLC, to take advantage of the strengths of both companies and to benefit both companies' customers was recently revealed at the Carlson Silver Anniversary User Conference. HydroCAD is a Computer Aided Design tool used by civil engineers for modeling stormwater runoff.

Carlson
Software hires three veterans
of the industry to join
the company’s sales,
support, and programming
team.
MAYSVILLE, Ky. – Carlson
Software Inc. has expanded
its sales and tech-support
team with the addition
of Bob Bailey as director
of Data Collection Sales,
David Pluym as director
of Government Sales,
and Donnie Stallings,
as a programmer. Bailey
will be based at the
company’s headquarters
in Maysville, KY, while
Pluym will work in Kieler,
WI, and Donnie Stallings
will be located in Raleigh,
NC.
“All three new hires are very well-known and have extensive experience
in our high-tech industry,” says Bruce Carlson, founder and president of
Carlson Software. “With our new additions, we look forward to increasing
our presence and customer service nationwide.”
Carlson Software Inc. was founded in 1983 and is a growing company with main
offices in Maysville, Ky., Atlanta, Ga., and in Boston, Ma. Products include
software for surveyors, civil engineers, mining, construction, waste control,
machine control as well as accident reconstruction.

“I first became aware of Carlson Software when Nikon was in the GPS business
and utilized Carlson data collection software to operate their GPS systems,” says
Bailey, who has 30 years of experience in the surveying manufacturing field and
comes to Carlson Software after serving as sales manager at both Nikon and Sokkia.
