Carlson
Software announces the
release of its new SurvNET
product.
SurvNET is a powerful
adjustment tool designed
by surveyors for surveyors.
It performs a mathematically
rigorous network least
squares adjustment and
statistical analysis of
raw traverse data.
SurvNET downloads from all popular data collectors SurvCE, TDS, CG, SDR,
and SMI. SurvNet converts seamlessly your raw data for network least squares
processing. Raw data is transferred and processed without any intermediate steps.
SurvNet can be configured to output ASCII coordinate files that are easily imported
into any desktop software system. SurvNet includes a simple but powerful raw
data editor to review and correct field data.
SurvNET will simultaneously adjust a network of interconnected traverses with
any degree of redundancy. The raw data can contain any combination of traverse
(angle and distance), triangulation (angle only), and trilateration (distance
only) measurements. It can also perform resection calculations (where any combination
of distances and angles are measured from an unknown point to known points).
The traverse data does not need to be in sequential order. SurvNET pre-processes
the data in order to average all the SET information and calculate the standard
errors for each angle and distance. Any measurements that fall outside of predefined
tolerances will be shown in the adjustment reporting potential errors and blunders.
All measurements, both backward and forward, will be measured and used in the
adjustment.
SurvNET can adjust 3D and 2D traverses, as well as combined 2D/3D traverses.
SurvNet allows you the freedom to weight individual measurements and control
points by assigning standard errors directly in the raw data file. It can also
automatically reduce field measurements to State Plane coordinates in either
the NAD 83 or NAD 27 coordinate systems. The grid factor, elevation factor and
combined scale factor are calculated for each measurement. A full statistical
report of the least squares adjustment is displayed after the data is processed.
The standalone network least squares adjustment program, SurvNet, is also available
in Carlson Survey, SurvCADD and CG Survey. |
