What’s New

New information (4-8-2008)! Be in on the ground floor of this exciting news -- HydroCad will be packaged with Carlson Hydrology 2009 thanks to a new alliance between Carlson Software and HydroCad Software Solutions, LLC. Peter Smart, CEO,HydroCad Software Solutions, LLC, will reveal this new alliance with Carlson Software in a class called HydroCad Hydrology/Hydraulics in Session 3 on Monday, 2:15-3:45 p.m. He will present a brief overview of hydrology fundamentals followed by a presentation on HydroCad, including flow analysis, reach design and detention pond sizing, for both surface and underground structures. HydroCad links will be developed within Carlson Hydrology soon after the initial '09 release.

The course descriptions have been enhanced (2-25-2008) to give a more detailed description of each of the classes to be held during the Carlson Silver Anniversary User Conference. Special Dealer Attendee Information (posted 2-10-2008): Two new dealer certification tracks have been announced. The first, for Machine Control Dealer Training Certificate, requires: Carlson Grade for Dealers (session 7), Carlson Machine Control (session 8), plus 3 electives from the following: Surfaces (session 1 or 5), Essential Roading (session 2 or 5), 3D Models Data Prep: Residential (session 2), and 3D Models Data Prep: Commercial (session 4). The second, for Medallion Dealer Training Certificate, requires: And five (5) sessions of the dealer's choosing.

This page will be used to announce any new training classes, updates to scheduling, speakers planned, news from Carlson Software, and even special events that might be happening in and around Lexington, Kentucky, around the time of the Carlson Silver Anniversary User Conference, April 14-15. Be sure to check it on a regular basis as you plan your visit to Lexington and prepare for Carlson Software's informative and interesting user conference.

Who Should Attend

Those who currently use Carlson Software products -- including C&G and Simplicity, which are part of the Carlson product line, plan to use them in the future, or who just want to learn more about how Carlson can work for them should attend the Carlson Silver Anniversary User Conference. This includes: surveyors, civil engineers, mining engineers, construction engineers, partner manufacturers and dealers.
