What's
New
- CG-Survey 18 for AutoCAD is now VISTA compatible and runs atop any AutoCAD, including regular AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map, Land Desktop and soon on Civil 3D, versions 2000-2008. All the surveying tools and applications described on this Web page running inside AutoCAD with all of the standard AutoCAD pull down menus, no new menus to learn. More than 15 years experience producing software that runs on AutoCAD has produced CG Survey 18 for AutoCAD, the ultimate Land Surveying tool to run on your AutoCAD platform.
- New Intersect toolbar: user can perform all the various types of intersections from an on screen toolbar. The resulting intersection location appears as a red “X” on the screen and the user can decide to save the result to the coordinate file or simple review the results.
- New Point Symbol Dialog Box: shows images of ALL symbol drawings found in the Symbols directory. The images are extracted from the drawings found in the Symbols directory and no longer use pre-prepared slides. This makes it easy for the user to customized C&G point symbols or add new symbols. Just use AutoCAD to edit a symbol or create a new one and save it to the Symbols directory.
- New Deed Reader: enter the ASCII or TXT data for the deed, by hand, or by cut and paste or read deed data from deed file. From the data watch the program draw the deed file for you.
- New Legal Description: gives you the ability to create a detailed legal description from an AutoCAD polyline.
- New Point Manager: manage all aspects of the coordinate file, change file name, delete file, copy file, edit file, change description length, change the file format, edit file location, add delete and renumber points, and more.
- New Edit Coordinate File: now you can edit the coordinate file in the CGEditor.
- New Associate Coordinate File: the user can associate a different coordinate file with the C&G entities in the drawing.
- New Renumber Points: allows the user to renumber a point range and overwrite existing points if desired.
- New Label Lot/Areas: pick in side an area defined by points in a point group, intersecting lines or polylines. Then place lot numbers, areas or both in the center of the area or at the cursor location.
- New 3D faces from Tin: create a 3D face from the C&G tin file.
- New create & Plot a Grid File: create a Carlson grid file (*grd) from #D entities selected from drawing
- New Shrinkwrap: introducing a Carlson feature, which creates a closed polyline, that encloses a given set of entities to be used in various other routines for inclusion or exclusion of entities.
